Sep 29th - 15:08:05 PM | New PvE Battle System! * We now have abilites and stuff. * Mob level is now based completely on their cpower. * Damage has changed slightly. If your cpower is higher than the mob level, you get a damage bonus. I was going to make it vice versa for damage until I realized you wouldn't be hitting them in the first place! * You now only hit once per round. The objection is if you're quite faster than your target. If so, you'll get another hit. This works in the mob's favor too. * All SRP gains have been multiplied by 2.5x. All equips now drop 2x the rate. * Battle logging is now done in your style; even though most people use the default orange. Now it won't look all out of place and ugly if you're using another. * HP for both mob and monster have been made so if they're low on health, it'll show in orange or red; else it's green. * This applies for training center too, which was a huge pain in the ass to code. <3 * Boss battles and status-effect-attacks will be on this system tommorow. I'm just being lazy about it. ;o; Oops I have to go to college before I write the reference. Oh well, guess that'll be done tommorow too! :X
The "city" feature is now suspended. I understand this may upset the mayors, but it had to be done. MonBre 2 is the only time we'll need a city system. It was childish of me to think we needed mayors and all that right now. ;o; I'mma sorry massa. All mayors will still maintain mayor status and all trains are at 30% cheaperness. I'm going to still leave the script in for mayors to play with (enjoy your 400,000 bux btw) but I ask that no one changes the train 30%.
Now if you get a game over, you'll be transported back to the last locale you visited. It was last city before this, which some players understandingly did not like.
CPower stopped fluctuating in combat.
Training center sticks have updated stats to reflect the new battle system.
Changed the left sidebar for exploring around so it gives relevant information.
Finished tiling the area to the south-west of silvamed.
Oops! Forgot to write raid stories for some raids. Well I did that.

Sep 29th - 15:08:16 PM | So as I'm sure you're all aware, we did get accepted into TWG but were not in the email. That sucks hard. I was really going into overdrive for the coding so we could be made presentable, but, we weren't there today. I guess we'll make it into the email next week. We've still got an astounding 40 people active so it's not too bad... but I'm pretty damn sure we can keep a lot of people now. Back in early august, the game was good but not exactly great. I hereby cannot think of anything else that could make the newbie experience more pleasant; some complained the reference was too long, so I made a condensed version. Some said waiting a day to explore was boring, so I fixed it. I personally felt the combat was lacking and we've got this new, sexy sexy system in place and I really like it. If it doesn't work out, it'll be final proof to me that MonBre's formula simply isn't fit for our industry. I don't know what to do at that point. MonBre now costs me 350 for three months.
Current gripe with the battle system is the fact you can just "dodge" things. I think that'll be changing. You can only "fully dodge" if your dodge is a lot higher than their accuracy, else you'll get hit for like 1/3 the damage you'd receive normally. Don't forget HP and energy won't instantly be healing, either; you'll have to start to charge those up. Oh and I'll have more attacks for your monsters either tommorow or wednesday.

Sep 29th - 19:00:58 PM | Yeah I'm sorry but it was so stupid of me to even make the damn political thing in the first place. Since I designed some features around it, I kinda have to now, but for now it must be frozen.
What do you guys think of the battle system so far? Eh?
