Explore near town and start the quest from the town.
And, then proceed to the following town.

02/28/2010 21:47 | Oh! Yeah, Kah' Lir is still too tough for you. Your normal monster can train near Kah' Lir but you'll have to keep going in for healing or buying lots of healing items. Stay training near Silvamed. North until about CPower 12 then South until you think you are strong enough for Kah' Lir.
Arbistus is a bit easier then Kah' Lir so you could go there first.
I suggest you train up your worker monster to explore since it can heal in battle or to upgrade your barn to have 3 monsters and get either a cute or good one to heal your normal monster while exploring.
I started out like that and had a hard time of it at the beginning, my first monster was a normal too.
Remember to accept quests in the area before you start training and exploring cause you have to fight lots of mobs for some of them.
