03/30/2020 00:02 | Hello, my beloved believers! I've found some time to give MonBre a little update from quarantine in my subarctic apocalypse bunker. And so,
General
Welcome to the new server, sporting a few tech upgrades but ultimately nothing you will notice performance-wise.
COVID-19 Relief Event
For the foreseeable future, every mob killed now has a 4% chance to drop 100 Bux for every breeder level you are. So, the max breeder level is 25: you get 2,500 Bux. Hopefully this helps alleviate some pain in these unprecedented times.
Splicing Improvements
* New crystal choice for single-splicing: Obsidian Crystal. It costs 100,000 Bux, so start grindin', because it's so worth it.
* The selectors for choosing a monster no longer allow selection of any monster younger than Child
* New explanation of the formula behind single-splicing
Registration Improvements
Registering no longer requires an email, and removed the "heard of us" field. Generally cleaned the form up.
Bug Fixes
Pages with NPC text on them are no longer pushed too far down to interact with.
It is once again possible to use the keyboard to attack/continue in PvE battles. (1-9 to attack, Enter to continue)
Exp until next trainer level on home page is now accurate.
Cleaned up the backslashes on monster job descriptions.

04/04/2020 15:49 | I felt inspired and improved our registration process, see revised patch notes. I also improved visual aid support. And as a third surprise update, I moved coordinates below the traveling graphic.
There will actually be one update towards the end of the year: I have to remove all Flash from the game. This may require me to commission an artist.

06/22/2020 22:24 | The COVID Relief bonus will be staying for the foreseeable future. I expected it may be more permanent when I announced it in March. Still, truthfully, it is a considerable bonus and I'll have to cut it off by the end of the year. (or early 2021)

07/10/2020 23:32 | Removed custom user styles. This was the ability to theme your interface with different colors. They were 404ing and creating noise on the server, and no one really used them, so kapow!

11/10/2020 11:24 | I don't think we'll be seeing a MonBre update for a while; I'm stretched very thin between a new baby and my upcoming game. (see https://tinydark.com) We'll see if I can squeeze a small amount of time in around Xmas to adjust the COVID bonus.
