Jul 31st - 18:18:20 PM | Hello and welcome to the release of the first version of Monster Breeder! The game has taken me roughly 800 hours (along with designing, learning PHP, etc.) to create and I'm super duper proud to finally be releasing. This is just the beginning of MonBre's time on the web (sorta  ) and there will be much more already-planned content being added over the course of its life.
*** New Players ***
Thanks for checking this game out! You'll find a lot of the game is unlike others in the genre; there is no energy bar, there are no other players to attack. (though you can PvP of course) Your first day will involve getting a monster and quests, watching your monster hatch, and training them a bit. The second day is when the "real" game begins and you can go out into the world. There's a newbie FAQ right here:

*** Old Players ***
There will be plenty of content for new players, and I've recently added (and finished in this news post) Endlesberg. You may feel stuck for just a little while after Endlesberg because my focus right now is backing up and adding quests, at least one, to each city. After that, I'll finish up the rest of MonBre.  Wait 'till you see Pakkus's quest.. mmyes. So enjoy the new players and don't bite them. >:F Or eat them. >:F In fact just be very kind to them. Now here's your filthy patch notes.
* Patch Notes *
Added trains and stuff to Endlesberg.
Adjusted some of the power for all equips sold in stores so that they balanced out more. (also stocked all stores)
Made it so the punishment for getting a gameover only applies to people over trainer level 3.
Oopsie, forgot to implement raid equips dropping. They're here now. Keep in mind they don't always drop.
Made the ability to quote people on the forum, and I made archival of messages. On top of that, I even removed a second instance of a script being called, so in short, the loading of topics should be slightly faster. (browser-wise)

Important: Vael victus, garret ruggles, alice bolton, wosheh zockina, rik boersma, kid cross, djdogger woof. These are the new mayors for cities. The last three, being unpopulated, are run by me. Mayors, make sure you read the reference and set your taxes appropriately. This is the real game now.

Aug 01st - 09:05:23 AM | Yeah you can ask me whatever of course. I've removed, just for now, the protection of taking away tons of staff and still only losing 20 quality, but I'll be reinstating it again so just make sure your services are staffed properly and there should be no problem.
