So, I devoured this comic recently. Literally. This comic was eaten alive by my mind itself. Which is why you all need to read it, and totally need to buy it if you like it.

Which is why I'm going to share with you the awesome that is Scott Pilgrim.

What's everyone's preferred source of files? Rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire or whatever the hell that one site is? I know some people hate/can't use certain sites, so I'll do my best to accommodate that.

Anyway, it's a comic. About a guy who plays video games, doesn't have a job, but is in a band. Then he finds a girl and falls completely in love with her, to the point where he has no issues defeating her seven evil ex-boyfriends in combat to keep her.

If that last sentence doesn't sound awesome, there's something wrong with you.

It's funny, it's got action, it's got plot, it's got believable characters, it's got relationships. It has drunkenness, and it has drama. So, essentially, imagine your life but with a girlfriend who has a habit of dating evil dudes who want to kill her future boyfriends.

It was announced at ComicCon that a movie is in the works, along with a video game. The last volume of the series, the movie, and the game are all going to be released near eachother in 2010. Actually the movie news may have broken before ComicCon, I'm not 100% sure. It doesn't really matter.

Seriously, though. You guys need to read this comic, and I'm going to make it happen.

megaupload is way better than rapidshare, yuo don't have the 15 mins between downloads... if you say this is better then chocolate, i'll give it a shot.

Totally better than chocolate.

The download is 400 mb, for CDisplay (a program that lets you read comics that are in .rar format, or changed to a specific .cbr/.cbz format) and the five volumes that are out so far. Megaupload's saying two and a half hours to upload that, up to 42 kb/s now, so I guess I'll post the link when it gets done :/

Yeah!

If you enjoy it, seriously consider picking up a copy, or at least ordering online from http://www.onipress.com

I actually don't know if they do online ordering, but I assume they must. It would be weird if they didn't.

Downloading it right now!

Edit 1: Downloaded... only read a couple of pages, but it looks promising

Edit 2: Finished first book... I enjoyed it very much, didn't like Scott's attitude but...

Edit 3: Finished second book, got lost by soo many characters, realised that there is a movie going to be made of this... WTF?!

Edit 4 & 5: Finished third, fourth and fifth and the extra one, Cursed cliffhangers, wondered if I have to wait for next year...

Result: I effing love it!

Screw this, I'm going a-back to Italia!

Aha! See the Frank, Exhibit A as to what makes this comic super.

Don't worry about getting mixed up, the secret is to keep reading and see if you can figure out who is who XD It's actually just iffy because Ramona repeatedly changes her hair style, though.

And yeah, boo the cliffhanger, but book six should be awesome.

CJ: YOU WANT TO READ IT

Vael: It'll take you less time to read them than to get through even half of Texhnolyze. Much shorter than any other book series or comic I could recommend.
