03/15/2010 19:21 | Well, on Thursday I sold my monster, Destiny, and spliced the remaining two together on Friday, thus killing my final three. I started over with three new monsters. My best one is level 19 and is three days old. I feel as if I am not doing too good with my monsters, especially since I want them to grow exactly like the reference says, and there is no way I'll get from level 19 to level 50 in two days. Am I doing something wrong?

03/16/2010 15:22 | Well, the first mistake is putting any sort of value into level. Level as a stat only reflects how much you have raised the monster before you spliced them - the only reflection of your power is c-power, combat power.
That being said, you probably shouldn't have sold the monster. The idea is that you raise a strong one and then use the others for working, fodder, or hell you could even raise two monsters together and splice them to make an uber monster. What you have now are some pretty weak monsters, but at least you have lots of levels to evolve them to, and you have a good variety of skills.

03/16/2010 15:45 | What the? Looks like you're not exploring and, there by you're not getting tons of SRP for your monsters. This means you're not doing some of the quests either. I'm guessing you're not exploring cause of your monster's CPowers, there's no way you can fight the mobs there, are you?
At first it's hard to improve your monsters cause you have to do it one at a time and the mobs don't give much SRP.
After you do the quest in Mar' Muras it starts getting easier with the exp share and the further you go the more SRP the mobs give.
Also, you're monsters should be at a combined level of at least great 300(?). If you combine at a low combined level you'll end up loosing stats along with the second monster.
Fighting mobs in the wild is the way to go, working is more for the money. At the current CPower you should be near Silvamed, Kah' Lir, or Arbustus. While exploring you can also find equipment and items to sell so you could still be making money.
I wish I could have helped you before you spliced your monsters.
Well, I had given some advice but didn't know about the lack of exploring.
So, yeah, aim for at least 250 total levels before splicing monsters together.
