May 03rd - 01:09 | I'm officially raising one of every breed. I'd have been doing so sooner, but I had no idea that one of the quests would be giving me a monster. I did my first splice today, too.
*Cooing at the spiky headed demon thing* "Koshi is such a cute little evil monster. Yes he is!"
What is it about babies that turn perfectly rational people into gibbering idiots?

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it. I tend to speak real sentences to my cats and coo at the humans (Though usually, that last bit is just to irritate them. "*To a friend* Look! You managed to finish that essay three days late. Oh, what an intelligent little human you are! Here's a treat. Go play some games and try not break anything, okay?" *To the cat* "Now remember Qing, I know Farthing can be difficult to get along with sometimes, but that's no reason to sit on her head like that. Try not to kill each other while I'm gone, okay?")

Good girl = tail wag, while hooosagoodgirliewirlyyeaaaaaaharentcha, arentchaarentcha? = chasing after toys and generally just running around the house and getting exercise without me needing to go run around outside during the winter.
Not that I'm retarded or anything. I just have a big, excitable dog, who happens to need lots of exercise. Luckily enough, that balances itself out.

That being said, it's fairly dangerous to watch. She doesn't let anyone cut her nails, and when she doesn't want something done, she tends to get her way. So, she just bites them herself, which means for the most part they're a tad longer than I'd like them to be... Basically, you'll get run over. And you'll regret it.
The key is to make noises, pat her sides, throw something, and then get out of the way.
