And just come back for a couple of days, and then maybe they finally leave. Some don't, though, if they get into a big flamefest because they often say they're leaving and just don't.
The solution is to be like well, I'm going to be taking a break for a while next friday... I'll still check back until then though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then that way you don't seem like an idiot.

03/26/2009 18:42 | I quit that game/forum over a year and a half ago, I've got no logs of anything :/ I decided I had more important things to do than sit around for hours and reply to anything and everything, as nice as it was for my post count.
Just imagine a really aloof looking 30 year old in a fake army uniform (yeah, that was pretty awesome, people who were actually in the army were like there's no way he'd actually show up with that crap on) and then give him the kind of attitude where he makes scientific theories and inserts his ONLINE ALIAS INTO THEM and submits them for peer review. Despite having no real scientific background.
Then make him an anime pedo, add a bit of drama, and you're set

03/27/2009 05:37 | It's different because I leave, come back, then reply to everything. We tend not to be online at the same time, which means no three hour spam fest in which we reply within two minutes of eachother's posts.
There's probably no point to it now, but a top 5 recent posts thing would greatly facilitate that. That was how I kept track of everything on there, and I've seen it on a few different games. No clue where you'd put it, though.

You could disable it on certain forums, or have a different one for each forum (one big page showing all the recent posts), or maybe give them the option of which forums to show/block. But really, if you make it so that the random forum doesn't show up you pretty much defeat the purpose XD
