Bug second monster not coming in during exploration fights?

This has happened twice now and it's irritating!

I put my normal monster, who needs to level up first to gain some experience, then plan to start up with my evil monster, ---- who's a lot tougher, when the normal one loses (I've got no way of healing the normal monster, and while I can keep it going for a while direct damage is eventually going to get the best of it).

Yet, twice now, my normal monsters' been knocked out and I've got the message "all your monsters have been ko'd" and a game over.

This is irritating indeed!

unless it's in the game that you always put your stronger monster first, ---- in which case, what's the point of having multiple monsters in fights during exploration or trying to level them both up anyway?

I had already noted this bug but, I had 4 monsters and 3 exploring. I didn't try with 2 monsters to see what would happen.
The problem still seems to be with the last monster in the regular lineup.
That was the First monster first and the third/last monster second, right?
Well Vael, looks like you're gona have to look into this sooner then later.

Yep, my regular line up goes normal worker evil (I like to keep a nasty surprise), and when exploring, my worker was busy and I wanted to train my normal monster up, so the order went normal then evil.

Interestingly enough, when I had the 3rd monster first and first second, ---- ie, evil then normal, the transition seemed to go okay.

This has indeed been a bug for a long time. DId your normal mon die from an ability? If so, this dumb bug will come up.

yep, it was direct damage attacks that did for my normal monsters sinse I don't have any way to heal them at the moment without using potions.

As I said, a painful bug, but hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

you can heal your normal out of exploring if you have another mon that can do it, like a good, cute, or worker.

That's only good and cute, workers only heal themselves.

I didn't think workers did healing. I plan to get a good monster next, but i'll need to A, upgrade my barn, and B, have one of my workers grow old enough to sell.

Never sell mons. THe money you get isn't that good. Move into POrt Ceres and do the quests over there; that should get you enough money to upgrade. By the way, 1 4-monster barn will cost you first 20,000 to upgrade to brick and then 45000 more for steel.

Hmm... I see, so it's probably from the abilities. I will look into this later. Thank you folks for the clarification but I cannot look at this until next weekend.

Well this does seem to happen with abilities, so hving it fixed would help.

My thought on selling monsters is symple. I was hoping for another type besides worker from the swamp quest. Now I have my worker, who isn't old enough to splice or sell and who I can't really get enough xp with, and benjie, who's level zero, but has hugely better stats and combat power.

Something needs to be done with at least one of them, sinse I need the space, especially because I want a good monster for healing, and sinse benjie beats my worker type hands down, ---- my worker probably has to go.

Great news, everyone! I'm pretty sure I fixed this bug. I decided to take a look at it really quickly and the answer was kinda obvious. I don't have the time to test but if you could please tell me, when the ability was supposed to kill you, if it actually did and sent it to the next monster.

As for selling monsters, that's fine. That's what it's there for. I redesigned it to give you more money for working level because the only ones you will probably be selling are the workers. But you can sell whoever.

Well, I don't know about diing from abilities but, I tested out the lineup I had monsters skipped from and it didn't happen. That was with 4 monsters and 3 exploring though, when I have a chance, I'll try with 3 in the lineup and 2 exploring.

When my monster died from poison the next monster didn't come up and I got a gameover.
Don't know if bleeding does the same thing.
