Ok, good, then I have no idea why it'd show up differently for you.

I'm still using Firefox 2, I HATE FF 3. I'm sure there's a theme to make it nice and simple like FF 2 was, but I honestly see no reason to "upgrade."

I just like the overall layout of 2 better, but then again I kinda did the same thing with upgrading from 1 to 2. We'll see, I'll get around to it if there's ever a reason why I should.

That's what I meant, if I find something that doesn't work, then I'll just update. I don't really use add-ons though, just a couple I downloaded to get into a private tracker for games that gives you 4 seconds to sign up every 15 minutes or so.

Well the good thing about 2 is the torrent add-on

Never noticed. I didn't start torrenting until a little bit after 2 came out, I think. I'll use utorrent until someone can prove to me there's a program that'll give me faster speeds somehow, which I kinda doubt since the program doesn't make much of a difference.

I use BitTorrent, is there really a difference between torrent programs?

Not really. uTorrent is really simple to use, takes nearly no system resources, it's easy, simple, gets the job done. It might not play everything you download for you or do other neat things like some programs, notably Vuze, but I'd much rather torrent my torrents and watch my shows. Something like that.

I've never tried to optimize BitTorrent though, so I wouldn't know if there's any difference in its options and stuff. But uTorrent is pretty simple, you just figure out your connection speed, pick the closest one out of a list, and it'll set up your settings to keep you from uploading too much and screwing your download speeds up. Then anything else you want to screw around with is just under preferences.

Torrenting is awesome, it's how I get all my stuff.

Nearly 40 gb of music, 40 gb of anime that I have yet to watch, who knows how much that I have watched... Any PC game I was interested in, 30+ DS games...

Don't ban me XD

Vael hasn't banned me yet, sides it's not against the rules to talk about it really...
I don't pirate programs as they are too big, I tend to just pirate games and music which I would buy the stuff IRL if I enjoyed them.

Meh, I'm more of a "buy it only if you have to" kind of guy XD Money saved is money spent on more important things. Such as a roof to live under, food in your belly, dates with wimminz.

I tend to get programs whenever I need them, if I'm supposed to do a movie for school I'll go torrent some movie editing program, I've got Macromedia Fireworks sitting around here for no real reason, stuff like that. Even though I should probably get photoshop, because fireworks is seriously lacking in some aspects, it's much simpler to do absolutely nothing and just use it whenever I need to. Which is never.

I figured you were joking about the try before you buy thing, really XD

So you are a leecher?
How can you support the game companies if you don't buy it and if you get caught you have no honest excuse...
People waste their money on sh*t like Imagine: A totally Unimaginative game.
See if it's good or crap, I hate shovelware!

I keep my ratio at at least 1.01, higher if at all possible/if I've got something lots of people want. I downloaded Bleach 120-202, and seeded that for about a month and a half, any time I wasn't using the internet for anything.

But yeah, I do download a lot of stuff. The problem is, if I didn't have that option, I wouldn't even bother :/ I never used to listen to music, buying cds for $20+ unless they were some cool punk band and were selling their cd for $15 even or something at a show, which has only happened several times, I never bothered. Then I started downloading music, and now I listen to lots of stuff.

Same with games, I really wouldn't have bought a DS if I couldn't have been downloading games for it. PS3 games, I have to buy those, and I'm perfectly fine with that. PS2 games, I've got a good 40 of them, at least a dozen bought in the last year for $20 on eBay. At this point though the only things I don't have that I want are pretty much impossible to find for a price worth paying, so it's cheating time for that too.

If I ever do get busted for downloading stuff, I'm pretty much screwed. I accept that risk, lol.

Nice, I just like to support the games that are good, are lot are unheard of and are brilliant so the devolopers don't get much. I don't really buy music unless the band is struggling

I suppose, I mean if I knew of some random company making ridiculously awesome games I'd probably buy them just in case they ever see a few dollars of the $50+ I spent.

Bands don't come around here all that often, which sucks, but when they do come here they tend to be cool guys just in it for the fun and for the music. You get a cheap cd, you get a cheap shirt, maybe a hoodie, you shake their hands, and then you hang around until there's nobody left to talk to.

Yup, I've got that one and the first one. Atlus is excellent with the whole translating games thing.

How about Etrian Odyssey 1/2? They're both extremely old school and full of griding, but hot damn do I love drawing my own map.

I tried a little bit of one but didn't like it very much...
I'd say Disgaea, Luminous Arc 2, TWEWY and Summon Nights: Twin Age are the best DS games
