Nov 08th - 15:56:55 PM | So, now that we've all had time to use them, what's everyone's favorite special attack? Mine so far is Golem Strike! Awesome damage from that attack, and that's kinda what I aim for is the quick kill.

In terms of everything other than attack, the healing abilities would have to be my favorites XD

Anyhoo, I've done some testing and realized Rakki was for the most part, right. The fury attack for evils was pretty pathetic, so I bumped it up. You can hover over the description to see it, but I gave it +10% HP and now it uses 20% of your strength. (minus equips) I say "right for the most part" because it gets better as you go on, due to being direct damage. Tell me if it's actually acceptable now.

Oh, get used to it. I'll take any suggestion within reason. You should have seen like the August-September months, when we came out of beta. I was a beast, coding the tile system, and new combat system. Before, people would just wander around in the white abyss, and all you had to do to fight was select your style, and hit "fight" and it'd just do it for you.

? And that's the evil fury? I only coded it to give you one attack. :o So it must do it twice due to speed and stuff. (which I'm totally not going to stop) If so, then 73 when you normally do 120ish is still really bad for a fury attack. Looks like it's back to more buffing.

03/16/2009 18:49 | Yeah, my speed is kinda huge, I'm sure I'd do more hits if I wasn't killing the enemies in one hit. You could always make it a guaranteed x hits though, but then again that doesn't really solve the problem.
Edit: Training my good monster a bit, the regular attacks do about 19-23 damage, the 1.3x damage fury attack does 26-31. So, that one works right, if it's also direct damage without counting defense.

03/17/2009 13:12 | I buffed it yesterday to a reasonable amount, according to my calculations it should be good now. Half of life, + 30% of the *attack*. (no longer strength) I doubt I will have to buff it more after this.
At the very least it's a free touch of evil.
