Yeah I can definitely do that.
Also, if you go to city you can now see that I am starting the compass thing... but I can't find an icon for it.  It has to be small like the clock on forums, or the skull in PvP. You can steal it from a game, I don't care, I steal like everything lol.

03/04/2009 15:59 | It adds flavor. People identify things by icons. You should've seen monbre before I had any icons. It was very bland and boring.
Edit: So I've set it up a bit for New Orsa - how does everyone like it? I think I'm going to have small goals for each area that generally need to be done, like barns and house upgrades. So once you upgrade your house from shack, the newbie areas will all have that crossed off their compass.

I've completed everything on my Compass except defeating Gloria, so thats the only thing not in bold. So when you complete something it becomes bolded.

Edit: How far does the checklist go? I'm in Kah'Lir, and it's just showing a big version of the checklist icon for me. Does that mean I've got it all done...?
Also also, the "do the mailmon job in x place" quest from the guy in the inn/tavern/whatever it was in New Orsa still doesn't show up in the quest log for whatever odd reason. Which is why I don't have it done yet, because I don't remember where exactly "x" is.
Edit edit: What about a nice little green check mark for the completed things? Just occurred to me while wishing that another game would bold/unbold its voting sites so you could distinguish between the ones you'd done and the ones you hadn't.
And, on that topic, have you registered MonBre on any voting sites? I don't know what you'd give for rewards, if anything, but having a handful of votes is better than nothing at all. Also, I may have already brought that up. Can't quite remember.

Dungeons would be neat. Some kind of system with keys specific for that dungeon to unlock chests only in that dungeon would be kinda cool, like kichu key gets you a chest in the kichu nest, etc. Or, a bunch of chests at the end after the boss or whatever, and you can only open as many as the keys you got. Maybe mini-bosses which drop the keys?

03/08/2009 20:08 | Dungeons, in my head, would be designed like a really advanced story. In fact, I'll be coding a similar system for the end of MonBre. Meaning, the final boss fight. It's so epic, I swear, I have it all planned out and it's just great.
Edit: also, I will be postponing the main member-getting ad-releasing etc. until either tomorrow or tuesday as I have found some bugs in PvE that I've been meaning to conquer. (also I added cool stuff) (just little additions)
