I only liked gregor for his sheer size and prowess in battle. The mountain that rides! That'd be one badass nickname. At least you're not a knight of roses fan. The direwolves will HAVE to be CG. There's just no choice there. Otherwise they'd have to put like tamed wolves in, and wolves are NOT direwolves. I just hope they go through the effort to make them impressive and realistic. You know nothing, Demi Snow.

Yeah, exactly. They were discussing using real wolves for when they're smaller, though, which would kinda work.
Gregor is kinda a douchebag, though. What with the whole raping people and crushing their skulls and stuff.
I think they will do a good job with the wolves, because they're a big part of the series. So, it would be terrible of them to do a bad job of it.
It'd be like if they did magic poorly in Harry Potter.

07/18/2009 10:31 | oh I'm not arguing that gregor was a good guy. he totally sucked. I just admired his size and prowess in battle. I mean, recrossing a river with arrows sticking out of your back like a pincushion is pretty impressive.
Having regular wolves for when they're smaller is still a mistake. Direwolves should have some distinctive trait. maybe slightly longer jawbones or something like that, along with the size difference. You know, something to make them a distinct species.
