08/22/2010 23:47 | 2165 So, I'm planning to get a PS3, but prices for games are too darn expensive, which would you recommend I get first?

Depends what kinds of games you like. Toss me some of your favourites!

I like Metal Gear series, Things that have "Spiderman" in them, Tony Hawk's series, Burnout and Metal Slug and Indigo Prophecy(Fahrenheit). I don't enjoy First Person Shooters on consoles- I suck at them
I've thought of getting MGS4, but a friend already has it so I could borrow it from him.
I'm looking for something that really shows up the graphical potential of PS3, so my family might say "Well, it wasn't THAT bad of an investment after all".

Heavy Rain made my family "ooh" and "ah." It may be a little troubling, but if they like CSI, they'll probably end up watching you play it like mine did. It doesn't have shiny cool graphics, but it does have "realistic" graphics compared to older games, so they'll probably be amazed.
MotorStorm is a racing series that has always had pretty amazing graphics, so you could try that.
Uncharted 2 is like Indiana Jones the game, and it's got pretty good graphics as well.
LittleBigPlanet is a fun, family acceptable game.
God of War III is a non-family acceptable game, but hey, maybe they'll like it!
Don't forget the Scott Pilgrim game as a digital download for $10! There are other neat downloadable games on the cheap, too, so you can check out the store when you get it.

Ok, I'm getting Heavy Rain, and I'm going to set some money aside for next games. And later find out the way of putting money on my digital wallet in the PS3.

Credit card, I think, but big retailers sometimes carry gift cards that you can use to add money.
Apparently Motorstorm: 3D Rift is coming out soon (maybe as early as tomorrow!), it's going to have the top ten tracks from the other games for $10. So, if you want to get some of that Motorstorm goodness, that's an option from the PlayStation Store.
Oh, and it doesn't have to be played in 3D But it can, if you have a 3D TV.

08/26/2010 03:19 | Heavy Rain did the trick! Now my sister wants to be every time I play that game and practically forces me to do it, she seem intrigued about the story and so am I.
Downloaded the demo of Scott Pilgrim's, looks cool. I liked that you could play cooperative even in the demo
Edit: Right, the number... 2173
