I was talking official firmware, though. Since official firmware is intended to fix security problems which are used to do homebrew and stuff.

No difference between 5.00 but sometimes they release firmware like that to annoy hackers, sadly that is the truth, usually every .10 there is a significant difference

03/16/2009 18:36 | Well, sometimes there's actual little things added. I know with my PS3 you'll get an update, look around to try and figure out what got added, and nobody really knows. So you go to do whatever and forget about it, then realize all of a sudden that there's a new feature there. For example, one day all of a sudden there was a feature to change the brightness of the XMB. Now you can use themes that aren't dark. Hooray!

I used to be the second shortest kid in my class for all of elementary school, though XD Then between 7th and 8th grade (7th being first year of middle school, 8 being second obviously) I gained a good eight inches, and everyone was like hey hey hey wait a minute...
That's probably not quite how it went. But I never really noticed until one guy was like hey, you're as tall as I am now...

03/21/2009 12:35 | Happened with me, I woke up and couldn't get my underwear on and I was like woh! My feet look big... wait the rest of me does, so I got the biggest clothes I could get and went to the doctors, from being 5' 10" to 6' 4" was odd, but well I ended up the same height as my cousin, but he says he is 6' 2" but nearly 6' 3" so i'm getting my height checked again to see if one of us is wrong. My growth spurt came from a 2 and a half days sleep, my parents were worried from me sleeping that long
It's a "wild gene" or something according to the doctors, it gets passed on but whether or not it will have any affect on the inheritor is a mystery of random chance.
So I could have short kids and tall grand kids, I won't be able to know
